Akustica My old roommate Prof. John Neumann is working with the dudes behind this company. This is some pretty cool stuff. The small size and ability of the technology to be concealed leads me to believe this is merely a front for the CIA or SD6. I always knew this was what John was up to. Those of you who knew him remember he used to like to record things surreptitiously or otherwise. Just look at the picture in the lower left of the home page... I was startled and quickly dumped all my jars of change on the table and sure enough, there were quarters with AkuSmart listening devices attached!! Those sonovabitchs... they've been listening to my pockets! I have never felt so violated. Beware people! BEWARE! I always knew the U.S. Treasury Service was in cahoots with FEMA and the Rosicrucians and Illuminati and tracking my every move! The truth is out there people!! (Kevbo runs off to find his trusted tin foil hat and hide in the cone of silence.)

No Link Here: Doug wrote me to point out some alleged omissions from my summer movie thingme. Here's part of my response:
"Heh heh... I sort of figured everybody had seen or skipped over spring releases like Panic Room and Scorpion King already so I just looked ahead... Spidey is only a week or two old so I figured it was fair game. Like, man, those other movies are SO one month ago. Get with the times!
I honestly have no clue about the Hey Arnold flick... that show is on too late at night (that's morning for the rest of you... sunrise means it's time for bed!). But I know my SpongeBob, Samurai Jack and Justice League!!
As for Spirit, yup I'm sure plenty of little girls will INSIST on seeing it because of the horses. I dare any parent to stand up agains the force of attraction between girls and horses. I believe your titling is accurate: Spirit: Yet Another Animated Animal Movie That The Kids
Insist Upon Going To See Just Because." The animation looks wonderful... probably near Disney quality... much better than any Don Bluth film... But, I'm afraid, thanks to Disney (the 800lb gorilla of animation studios), any successful animated feature MUST have irresistably cute side characters. Infants in the womb now expect that. The character of Spirit may be cute as a pony but that's only a small portion of the film... once the pony becomes a horse... the kids will go to sleep. I'd keep this one on hand in the future to get the wee ones to nap. I wrote the original screenplay for Spirit but the climax to the film that I had envisioned involved a glue factory and PETA protested, Dreamworks caved and that was that.. I wonder if this is a good one to plant the kids in front of while you go into the next theater and watch more mature fair.

Now wait a minute... I just did some research and apparently Hey Arnold is based on Pat Morita's character on Happy Days. I am SO there."
