Guinness 'launches' new widget I've just finished a six of Guinnes Extra Stout Draught in 11.5oz bottles with the new widget (not all in one sitting) and must issue a warning. It sucks. A gross travesty has been foisted upon Guinness fans. The liquid in these bottles is NOT Guinness. I don't know what they were thinking....It's watered down, the carbonation thingy inside is rather ineffectual, the rich flavor is gone, there's hardly a head. They further insult the drinker by urging you to drink it "Extra Cold" and straight from the bottle. I hope they didn't try this sinful ploy in Ireland or my genealogical brethren would be storming St. James Gate with pitchforks and torches. If they put down their glasses first.

Stick to naturally carbonated draught pulled at a bar or the original short brown bottles. Of course a bottle of bad Guinness is better than mass market American swill any day.
